| Málaga
is a cosmopolitan city and the capital of the Costa
del Sol & the province of Malaga, it was founded
by the Phoenicians and has been inhabited by Greeks,
Romans and Moors since. The city was conquered by the
Reyes Catolicos (Catholic Kings) in 1487.
Famous for its still uncompleted Cathedral, Alcazaba
(Moorish Castle), Gibralfaro (fortress) and wonderful
gardens, Málaga boasts many beautiful sights.
The famous painter Pablo Picasso was born in the city
and nowadays his house is a popular tourist attraction.
Málaga also has the second largest port in Spain,
which is certainly one of its main commercial centres.
Málaga is an extraordinary lively town and the
visitor will certainly find here everything he expects
to find in Andalusia.

beach.
The building is modern and air-conditioned and also
have central heating.

Málaga is a very cheerful town, and the "locos
veranos", the"crazy summers" at its beaches,
are famous throughout all the country. not only during
the summer-season, but all the year through you will
find ananimated nightlife. Going out belongs to an Andalusian's
everyday-life, like Flamenco music.

The cuisine of Málaga is light, healthy and typically
mediterranean: Shrimps in all variations, roasted
or boiled, and pescaito frito (fried fish) are among
the major attractions. But Málaga's perhaps
most famous recipe is another variation of those cold
soups or Gazpachos, which are very typical through
all Andalusia: Ajo Blanco is a fine cream of almonds,
garlic and olive oil.
