Spanorama offers language courses abroad. If you want to do a course abroad, you can make your booking through us. Spanorama arranges the course, accommodation and (if required) the transfer service from the airport to the accommodation. Does Spanorama take care of the flight? You should book your own flight. We can give you advice about good or cheap airlines to Spain. Please contact us for inquiries. How can I get to the school? Before your trip you will receive all the information you need in order to get from the airport to your homestay (host family), apartment or directly to the language school. You can book an airport transfer (as described below). For specific inquiries, feel free to contact. What is an airport transfer? You can book the airport transfer ahead. An employee of the school will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your apartment or directly to the school. The price depends on the distance from the airport. Take a look at 'prices' for the city you prefer. How far is my homestay from the school? Normally there is maximum: within 30 minutes on foot and within 10 minutes by bus. How will I get to school each day? Most students walk every morning, some have a bicycle and some go by bus or train. Will I be given a key to my homestay and bedroom? Yes. The host will give you a key for the main entrance of the house/apartment, but normally bedrooms are not lockable. Will I be able to do my washing? Yes, this is no problem if you live in a shared flat, binte case of Spanish family please speak with your host family first and ask when it is convenient. If I don't like my family, can I change? Yes. This is possible, but at busy times of the year, you may have to wait. How long does a complete course take? You are free to choose the duration of your course. You can book from a 1 or 2 weeks minimum up to a half year or even longer. If your preferred course duration isn't mentioned in the price state, please contact us for a price quote. When can I start? All courses begin on Mondays and end on Fridays. Your accommodation will be booked from Sunday to Saturday. Do you already have some knowledge of the Spanish language, then you can start your course every Monday. Are you an absolute beginner, please take a look at the starting dates under 'course' for the city you prefer. Is the school open on holidays? No, during official holidays the school is closed. This can be national as well as local holidays. Check out our website under 'course' for the starting dates of the city you prefer. Here you will find the official holiday dates. Can I book a course for next week? In order to guarantee yourself a place in one of our courses, you should enrol at least 2 weeks before the first day of the course. If you would like to start within 2 weeks time or less, please contact us and we can check if there is a place in one of our courses. How can I book a course? You can book clicking the 'book now' button. Now follow the steps of the booking system. You can also book by giving us a call between 9.00h to 17.00 p.m. dialling +34 952 291 509. Or you can send an email with the request to call you to your phone at a time that suits you best. How does the payment work? You pay a down payment of € 100 to Spanorama. The remaining amount (course, accommodation and airport transfer) has to be paid on the first course day. I don't live in Europe, can I still book a course ? You can book a course from anywhere over the world. Please be sure to have the right papers (study visa, etc.) to be able to come and study in Spain. If you have specific questions about this, please contact us. Do I need a visa to come to your country? Will you write a letter for me? If you are a citizen of the EU, you do not need a visa. All citizens of other countries have to apply to the Spanish Embassy in their country for a visa. This visa is only valid in the country where you stay. We will provide you with a visa support letter for your course in Spain. Does Spanorama charge an enrolment fee? No, Spanorama doesn't charge any enrolment fee or any extra costs for our services. The price you pay equals the price you should pay if you book directly at the language school. How can I pay? You can pay the down payment by international bank transfer, using PayPal or by credit card. If you choose to pay by international bank transfer, you will receive instructions through email. Your enrolment will be completed when we receive your payment. If you have a (free) PayPal account, you can send the money directly to our PayPal account. Your enrolment will be processed immediately. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can pay by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Your enrolment will be processed immediately. What is the duration of one lesson? Normally duration of 1 lesson:45 - 55 minutes; this depends on the school. Look under description of the school to see how long one lesson takes. Will I get a certificate from the School? Yes, at the end of your course you will receive a certificate of attendance. If you have taken an examination the last day of course , the school will send you the Examination Certificates according to the official levels. What is the D.E.L.E. Diploma? The 'Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE)', issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry for Education and Science, are official qualifications accrediting levels of competence and command of the Spanish language. There are 4 certificates in 4 levels: Elementál, Intermedio, Avanzado en Superiór. You can book a course which prepares you to take the exam and where you will eventually take the exam. The level of my group is too high/low, what can I do ? If you are in a group where the level of the classes is too high or too low in comparison with your level, contact the secretary of the school.They have the best insight in the possibilities to transfer you to another group. If this doesn't work out, please call us and we will help you in finding a solution. Who are my class mates ? The backgrounds of the students are very divers. If you are a student or you haven't studied for the last 10 years, the schools atmosphere makes you feel at home immediately. In July and August there are relatively more younger people (students) then during the rest of the year. Our students are from all over the world. We have people from USA, Japan, Italy, Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, England, etc. |
