ALICANTE
Alicante's exceptional location between the mountains and the sea provides the city with a special kind of captivating beauty. ALMUÑECAR
Almuñecar is one the nicest and most picturesque villages of the Costa Tropical, located in a tropical valley where the temperature varies between 18 C in winter and 32 C in summer. The village, founded by the Phenicians and later conquered by the Romans, offers a great number of archeologic museums as, for example, the Castle of San Miguel, the Roman Aqueduct and the Cave of the Seven Palaces. The impressive Sierra Nevada protects Almuñecar against the cold winds of the North. That permits the culture of tropical fruits as kiwis, banana and mangos, which is unique in Europe. All this makes this city with its 30.000 inhabitants famous for its hospitality and cordiality. It is the ideal place for you to study and enjoy the tropical sun.

GRANADA
Granada, (270.000 inhabitants) is the capital of the andalusian province of GRANADA, in the south east of Spain, beautifully located at the foot of Sierra Nevada. The city is known as the cultural and intellectual centre of Andalucía and is famous for its historical legacy and the variety of architectural monuments such as the Alhambra.
The internationaly recognized University (third biggest university in Spain) with approximately 50.000 students contributes to Granadas dynamic and lively atmosphere. The picturesque narrow streets in the historic part of the town with its little shops, bars and typical plazas are a great invitation for every visitor to get to know the"Granadinos" who are very friendly people.
Our school is located in the center of the town near the university. The magic of the Alhambra is reflected in the courts embellished by flowers, ferns and palm-trees surrounding the school. SALAMANCA
Salamanca is one of the oldest university towns in the world. An international atmosphere is created by students coming from all over the world to study Spanish here. It is the "La Plaza Mayor", regarded to be the most beautiful square in Spain, where this atmosphere is most noticeable. This is the favourite meeting place of the people of Salamanca as well as of foreign students. All the theory can be practised in the cafes and the welcoming "bodegas" (underground restaurants) and "tabernas" (bars). The many "tunas"-traditional student music groups- create an atmosphere full of joy and enthusiasm and fill the town with their lively music until late at night.
The inhabitants of Salamanca speak the most pure form of "castellano" (Spanish) without any regional accent, rather like the equivalent of Oxford English. In addition to this purity of language, Salamanca offers its visitors the chance to see its most remarkable monuments and many other places of interest in the town, a town which UNESCO has declared a centre of cultural heritage due to its great beauty.

All in all, Sevilla is an explosion of colour and contrasts. For the 'Sevillanos', the most important 'fiestas' of the year are Holy Week (Semana Santa) and the April Fair (Feria). In both these 'fiestas' the blend of emotion and religion, of excitement and seriousness create an atmosphere of enchantment and charm, so that no visitor can fail to be touched. Because of its cuisine, the weather, the intensity of its musical traditions and its arts and crafts, Sevilla is a city where it is possible to appreciate the art of living.
